Context
American Greetings is the world's second largest greeting card producer. Jacquie Lawson, a subsidiary, creates animated greeting cards for birthdays and special occasions, featuring English landscapes, playful animals, and much more.

I had the honor to work on their 2024 Advent Calendar.
Objective
Design the card fronts and backs for a solitaire game to be played in the home base.

Since this year's calendar was based in Paris, they wanted the cards to be in an art nouveau style.
Sketches
For the front of the card, they wanted a nutcracker as the central element, surrounded by typical Christmas decorations.
Card Backs
For the back of the cards, I used the same poinsettia elements to create a cohesive look.
In Context
Users were allowed to go to the home base at any time and pick from a multitude of games, solitaire being one of them.
